Details:

The phone is almost identical to the Oppo F9, with some changes.
In terms of raw specifications, the R15x is a reskinned Oppo F9 with an interesting feature. It doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor on the back.Instead, the fingerprint sensor has been moved under the display for this one. A rarity for mid-range phones.

Display:

The display is an impressive 6.4-inch Super AMOLED unit boasting FHD+ (1080 x 2340) resolution. Aspect ratio is 19.5:9, with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protective layer on top.

Design:

The body is entirely glass-made, covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the front, and is basically an Oppo K1 with more storage. Design-wise, it can be classed as an upper midranger, due to its trendy waterdrop notch and shiny rear.

Hardware:

Oppo R15x packs an old Snapdragon 660 chipset and 6 GB RAM. GPU is an Adreno 512, and the CPU clock arrangement has 4x 2.0 GHz Kryo 260 and 4x 1.8 GHz Kryo 260 cores.

There’s only one storage option of 128 GB internal memory, with no memory card slot.

As you’d expect, the company included a decent dual camera set up on the rear. The primary shooter is a 16MP sensor and it pairs with a 2MP depth sensor. The phone can shoot 4K videos at 30fps, and also has some cool portrait mode features like bokeh and beautification.

Selfie camera shoots 25MP photos, and also uses AI scene detection features, that adjust your camera settings based on each situation.

Software:

The software is going to be Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, with Oppo’s Color OS 5.2 on top.

Other Details:
