Package 2019 is for business customers and others who have not chosen to subscribe to Office 365, which adds new features periodically. This will bring Premier Edition features to the usual Microsoft Office suite, without any monthly payments.

The Outlook e-mail service now has support for its professional Office 365 suites, where contact cards have been updated, and the interface can now use bookmarks, show delivery details, and create a new, more focused mailbox.

PowerPoint now supports exporting 4K video and other image formats, such as SVG and 3D models. It has a new pencil case, as well as morph transitions.

OneNote is still free and can be downloaded separately without purchasing Office. It can be downloaded for free on all platforms. Notable changes have been made in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, Visio, Access, and Publisher.

Microsoft Word, one of the oldest word processing applications in history, now receives a new Focus mode, a new interpreter and some accessibility features, such as the Read-aloud function. The program also has a dark theme for the Windows operating system.

For Excel, Microsoft has added path charts to spreadsheet programs, schedules, 2D maps, and other new features. Users can now use the Excel Data Analysis function in the Office 2019 package as well.

Microsoft has confirmed that Office 2019 is a unique update. There will be no more changes other than signing up for Office 365 ProPlus. The update will be released to commercial customers only in their initial stages. Microsoft says it will be available to other ordinary users in the "next few weeks" without giving a specific date.

Stay tuned for more updates.
